It is dishwasher safe, but normally, we recommend hand wash. Because the color may fades over time if we go with dishwasher clear.

Q: Is the removable storage bag sturdy enough to actually be useful?

The bag has alot of support from the wagon frame. We are able to store thermos type cups and other weighted items.

Q: Does the plain wagon (without canopy) come with the attached basket? Can it be purchased separately or do you need to by the entire canopy version?

No, the plain wagon (without canopy) does not come with the attached basket. The structures are different, we don't advise to purchase the basket separately, you still need the plastic structure on the wagon top to assemble the basket, as you said, almost entire canopy version. if you have further questions, please feel free to contact us via the Amazon Message.

Q: Do you think pheumatic wheels can be added to this?

You would have to modify the leg or unpin the wheel and find a pneumatic wheel that fits inside the existing brackets
