So far so good. It fit my old Dyson DC34 perfectly and doubled the run time.

DO NOT BUY THIS DTK PRODUCT, and perhaps avoid all DTK products!.I agree with all that was written in this review below. I metered out the charger and battery and it shows a voltage. but it doesn't work. I happened to have my old genuine Dyson battery around and installed it. Worked OK, but of course since it was replaced because it was old, the lifetime was short.Replaced type B for type B. Installed and Dyson worked briefly. Would not re-charge. Replaced old battery and all worked as before. Swapped in new again. Wouldn't charge. Checked everything installed cleanly. Check all connections with meter. Metered out charger and battery to ensure both working. Charger produces correct voltage and current. Battery appears uncharged. This battery is somehow defective or incompatible. The return period expired a week ago, so I'm stuck with it.

I have a Dyson handheld vacuum that had gotten to the point that it would no longer hold a charge. I decided to try to find a battery to see if there was one available to save the vacuum from the landfill. I came across this battery and decided to give it a shot. Install was easy and the vacuum is working again. Super pleased.

Purchased a DTK 2000mA-hr battery pack for my Dyson hand-held vacuum over 3-1/2 years ago and its still works great. Decided to buy another DTK battery pack in case my old pack loses too much capacity before the vacuum craps out. Decided to use the new pack now and to alternate between the two packs since there are only two screws securing the pack in the vacuum. I found that I only need to reinstall one screw and possibly don't need any for easy swapping.

This is the second battery purchased. They do not last very long, very disappointing. It is almost worth either buying a new vacuum , in which we had done , or buying an OEM from the manufacturer. Maybe you have better luck.

The original battery for my DC44 was rated at 2000mah, with a rated runtime of ~8 minutes on the MAX setting. That battery actually had Sony 1900mah cells within it (I opened it up and verified). I tested this DTK battery on the MAX setting and got a runtime of 8 minutes 52 seconds. This puts it at around 2100mah of capacity. That's a far cry from the 4000mah it's advertised to have.In a nutshell, it's a good battery that outperforms the original. But I removed 1 star due to the false capacity rating.

Works as advertised and a fair price.
