Simple, clear and robust
A nicely made, robust maximum - minimum thermometer that is easy to read. Good old technology that requires no batteries to leak or run flat. Very pleased with this addition to my greenhouse and I will be buying a second one to fit outside.

OK for a couple of months
Worked fine for a few months and then the liquid started to break up. Followed the instruction but unfortunately the markers would not move beyond the liquid gaps. Now in the bin

one of the markers completely disappeared and couldn't be retrieved
The liquid in the thermometer split apart so couldn't measure temperature accurately. When I tried to get it to rejoin one of the markers disappeared completely and I couldn't get it back!
