Voyager VCMS10B Super CMOS Rear View/Mount Observation Wired Camera with LED Low-Light Assist, Black, Water Resistant

Installed this in my RV as a back up camera to replace a newer model, more expensive camera that didn't work. This works with my system and provides an OK image. It is reasonably sharp and had no problem with focus from close range to long distance; colors are fairly accurate once you get the display adjusted. It does have some problem switching between very bright sunlight and more subdued lighting (shade) but is about what I would expect in this price range. My only real issue is that direct sunlight on the hood of the car I tow behind the RV really blows out the image - all you get is a large, very bright area on the hood with no color or detail at all. However that's certainly not a showstopper. Overall it does what I need it to do - let me see behind my RV in traffic and when backing up.

Certainly improved the visibility of the things behind me over the bottom-of-the-line black and white camera that was there before. Picture still does not quite resemble the high definition of the website pictures; but I can tell whether I'm seeing a shadow, a stick, or a five-year-old on a bicycle.

This camera is well designed my husband was very impressed that it now has a solid metal housing. We bought it after a repair company broke our current backup camera when they were on the roof. We were sad to see that upon installation of this camera, it was the wrong replacement camera for our 2013 Dutchman Voltage 3895. This Camera is not wireless and doesn't have the ability to pair with our wireless monitor. We did call Voyager and confirm with them that this one is not the correct model for a wireless system. The one we are looking for is WVCMS10B.We will have to return it and look into a different option. I wanted to let everyone else now that the Wireless replacement camera has a "W" in front of the VCMS10B.Other than it not being wireless, the housing and camera assembly is almost identical. The metal housing is a giant upgrade from the plastic housing that our current (now broken) camera has.

it was not what i needed was not wire less so i sent it back

I replaced a B/W Voyager with this color unit. Easy transition,and it took about 30 minutes to change out and it works great.
