F7 AIO Flight Controller SpeedyBee Betaflight Bluetooth 8Pin Connector w/OSD Current Sensor Barometer 5V for RC Drone

The title says it all. A lot of flight controllers are 6 of 1, half a dozen of the other, and in a lot of ways, that's true. Not to say there aren't a lot of great ones out there, its that they all seem to do the same thing and do it well. This one, on the other hand, brings Bluetooth Betaflight configuration to the table, which is truly unique. Add that to the amazingly intuitive layout and sleek design, and they really have a winner no-brainer with this one. Will definitely be using it again on any build in the future where I want packed features and ease of use.

I have been unable to test the performance of this FC because after i tinned all the pads that i was going to use, i went to connect battery power and sparks shot out of the bind button area. upon further inspection i see that the solder pads for one of the esc is directly over the bind button on the other side and it has pores in the pad! did the solder flow through the pores and cause a short in the board?! Also to note, one of the esc signal pads pulled away incredibly easily after having it tinned and attached to the signal lead. This makes the Flight Controller completely useless even if i could power it on because there is no other port to connect the single wire too, and i cant fly with only 3 out of 4 motor signals. ****UPDATE**** The folks at Crazypony have some great customer service. They heard my complaint and sent me a brand new board in a very short time.. This one is working perfectly as it should. I believed i may have just got a bad unit the first time around. I will definitely be buying from Crazypony again simply because i know that they will try to fix any problems you might have with their product.

I wish i could write a glowing review of this product. However the unit i received was used. Three of the esc pads had been soldered, one of those the pad lifted off the PCB. I cannot even test even if I wanted to. I am sure that this was a mistake in the warehouse. I will update this review when I have a functioning unit.Update. I received a refund for this product and ordered another. This one was new in the box. I have assembled it with a DJI Ocusync racing quad. The board flies very well. I had an issue with the BT and the customer support was readily available and solved my issue. I do recommend this board.

Cool flight controller. I like the aio aspect and that it supports 6s. The Bluetooth is pretty cool to use with the app. Makes tuning easier than using the old.Pros:- tuning easier than osd- supports 6s- Bluetooth for tuning- built in lc filters- aio (only need escs)- comes with a capacitorCons:- non so farI've only set this up so have not tested in flight. It's going in a 6s build I'm still waiting in the last parts for. I've configured it though in betaflight and tested the Bluetooth with the app. I can wait for the rest of the build to get in to test this in flight.

Bluetooth won't stay connected and the options on the speedybee app are not correct. It like gives me some half default for a board that isn't mine options and changes mid setup and then disconnects all within a min of connection. Also, for the life of me, can't get my crossfire nano rx to be seen by the FC.. it's driving me nuts. No issues with an xm frsky rx but not the crsf. Swapped uarts and swapped tx and rx spots and redid chan maps. Idk kinda bugged

It was really clean and easy to solder but that's about it.The bluetooth... it was ok, if you have to reboot at all you have to rescan and reconnect. I would recommend when you do get it working you only use it for tuning.First, the controller wasn't working with any escs. I tried two different brands and dshot types. It would connect to betaflight but not blheli correctly. the board wouldn't allow the escs to fully start. I have no clue why or how but it did and I couldn't use blheli to attempt to fix it and the solder joins were fine.Second, it developed a short that caused the battery plug to melt. I went over all the joints and there wasn't anything that could be causing the issue.

Hated how fragile the USB port is, it yanked out of my board. got it re soldered, re working USB pad ripped off. ONLY Fight Controller I have had that the USB ripped off of. but it has Bluetooth? well I went to remap to my Frsky after re-soldering a new receiver, only to have it not reconnect to Bluetooth after doing so. . . save yourself some coin and get a different board and solder in a Bluetooth module if you really want it. If and only if they send me a board for free to offset the cost would I consider a better rating. BTW if you try and run a higher powered VTX off the 9V pad your likely not going to have a good time. as soon as I armed with a new module wired in static video. honestly it worked fine on 25 mW but what fun is that. . . solder foil is thin, will rip , unless they have heightened Quality of the board since I got mine in AUG' 2018

(Update)Crazypony made this issue right for me, then sent me a new one without any hassle. Like many have said before, their customer service is great. The new FC is working as expected.I loved this FC for about 2 weeks, then it randomly started to desync. 2 days after that started it randomly fell from the sky and wouldn't communicate with the ESC's anymore. OSD and video is gone, no lights on the board, Just gone. I really wanted this to be the perfect FC.
