Found this useless - did nothing

Well my feet have certainly had a very pampered start to the year. These follow my first foot mask experience last month (prior to which I didn't even know they existed!) which I really enjoyed and worked very well so thought this would be nice to try as I liked the idea of a double-dose of dedicated foot pampering by using the exfoliation mask first and then the intensive moisturising one after. It needs a bit of time, space and attention so definitely worth finding the right moment for it when you can relax with it and my feet did feel super soft and lovely afterwards so I'd definitely happily try and find the time to do these more regularly for the boost of softness and nicer looking feet.

I have been wanting to try a foot peel mask ever since seeing people on YouTube showing off the gruesome results! The skin on my feet is dry and hard in places so I was eager to try this mask out. I found the mask easy to use. The only tricky thing is making sure you put your feet inside the layers of mesh within the sock (it is very easy to accidentally slip your foot down the side). I popped some normal socks over them and waited an hour. I didn't feel anything on the bottom of my feet whilst using them but I did feel some irritation on the tops of my feet. It wasn't too bad and disappeared once I had washed the mask off. I then followed the aftercare instructions to the letter for the next ten days.The result?Nothing! I have not had even one tiny bit of peeling. The only thing I have had is severe dryness on my heels. I was going to try and wait another few days because I know the peeling can take 14 days but I cannot wait any longer as my feet are becoming painful. I had to get my Micro Pedi out and remove all the dry/hard skin and cover my feet in oil-based foot cream (which you shouldn't use with the peel) just to relieve the discomfort. I have no idea if all this was caused by the peel or it was just a coincidence. I will report back if I suddenly get any peeling but there is nothing so far.

3.5* rounded up to 4*.I've used something like this before with quite a bit of success so I was keen to try these out. They do feel very strange when you have the plastic socks on and walking is difficult so you are best doing it when you can sit and watch tv, or perhaps while you're working from your home office. These do not give instant results, if you want that then you need to go elsewhere as once you take off these and rinse your feet off the magic isn't meant to start for a few days. You may have seen people's posts showing feet with skin hanging off revealing baby soft skin underneath. Sadly these are nowhere near as dramatic and I don't think as effective. My skin did peel, but it was a slow and gradual process, and sure my skin felt softer after, but not baby soft by any means. I guess if the thought of sheets of skin peeling off your feet doesn't appeal then these might be good for you, but if you like the dramatic and clear and obvious results then perhaps there is a better option out there.

Hmmm, we’ll I’ve been dutifully waiting for two weeks after treatment to see if this has worked, but at the time of review it hasn’t done anything substantial in removing dry skin through skin peeling. My feet do feel softer because I’ve been regularly applying foot cream and soaking my feet, but as yet no major peel with associated dry skin removal. It could be that my skin takes longer to peel and I will update this review if this changes over the next week or so in that regard. So unfortunately disappointing so far.... though feet overall softer. Fingers crossed it begins to happen over the next week!

Works well.It was easy to use and has a lovely scent!After a few days, my feets started to peel and now I have lovely and clean feets.Great value for money!
