The media could not be loaded. First off my daughter is only 14 months so doesn't totally get the building part. This review is more on the quality of the product. The foam is pretty stiff but overall good. Kids can try and bite them but only leaves marks so I like that. Some of the shapes are miss shaped like they are cut wrong or misshaped. Marks in some of the curves from the knife cutting out the curves. Overall ok for price and shipping was pretty fast.Update: I have changed my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. 5 years later and 2nd child later, we still have these same blocks. They are VERY durable. The best part about them is they are foam. So it doesn't matter if they get thrown around, or left on the floor for people to trip on, they are not going to hurt anyone or anything. The bag that holds them has since ripped but its easy enough to stack them nicely on a corner, or if you have lots of floor space, find a BIG basket to just throw them in. They also have some chew marks now but its expected since they're foam. They d provide hours of fun and encourages children to use their imagination. My first daughter is now 5 and she still loves to play with these blocks with her sister. They build castles for their ponies, trains for the little people, or just try to get it as high as they can. The they take turns knocking it down and building over. Awesome toy!

If the shapes were actually cut properly, these blocks would be getting a 5 star review. With how much these blocks go for, you would think the manufacturer would take the time to set the machines up properly so that the like pieces are all the same size and that the half circles actually fit into the openings that they belong to (or that the manufacturer would have better Quality Control - they should be able to afford it at these prices). The long rectangular blocks very in length by about 1/2 an inch, the half circles stick out by about 1/3 an inch and this measurement issue is the same for the other shapes. Not all the blocks are off-sized, but there are enough of them and it's enough of a difference that just building a simple ramp to send cars/trucks down is quite the challenge - actually have to use cardboard to fill in the gaps to make it work. I'm very disappointed in these blocks - expected so much more for what their retail cost is.I would never recommend these to anyone.

This set of larger blocks is perfect for pre-schoolers. They feel they have built BIG when they stack them. Honestly they also have fun scoooooting around on the large U shaped blocks. The blocks are large enough to stack and stay better than the smaller set for my 2 year olds. The colors are bright and seem to encourage the children to hold them up and say the color....lol even if it isn't correct they are very proud to try, the blocks make the children feel "large" in so many ways. grBig EduColor Blocks are a great pick up adventure for my home day care. I am going to order another set soon!

I had to jump on this product. The price was too good to be true. Saw the same blocks at Buy Buy Baby for way more. If you have a little one that likes to put toys in their mouth and bite on things, then beware. 3 hours after opening the blocks, I noticed several bite marks on the blocks.

I got this set of big blocks for my son when he was two. He was not playing with it much at the beginning. While he's becoming older, he's playing with it more often. It's a lot fun for me and my son building blocks together. My son loves to build a tall tower, then say 'Boom' to push them all down.The blocks are pretty big, light, and durable. Easy for toddlers to handle.

Ordered this blocks for our two year old daughter and she just loves them. The downside to this product is the storage the package it came in you have to take the time to figured out the puzzle for it to fit. But great for teaching colors, shapes and building techniques.

My granddaughter Juliana LOVES these! We build them up to knock them down and she laughs... she screamed when she opened them and was so excited and didn't even know why as she is only 19 months old... it's one toy she will actually sit and play with.. Jamie B.

It's good to have lightweight blocks to stack that can't hurt our baby when he knocks them down. However, we have to observe our 18 month old when he is playing with these blocks, as he can chew off pieces of them.Also, it was shipped packed within hundreds of packing peanuts, which was unnecessary, because it's made out of foam and can't be damaged in shipment.

The blocks are huge n sturdy. My 3 yr old boy love it. He can make huge castles with it.
