First, these are a great way to protect a finger. I get a lot of finger cracks around the cuticles, so I can coat my finger in ointment and wear these. They are VERY stretchy, so it's easy to open them very wide and put your finger tip with the ointment at the end of the cot, so you don't get ointment all over the whole length of it.They stay on well, but at night they seem to grab onto the sheets when I move around in bed and are often pulled off my finger during the night.They are easy to clean with soap and water, and seem durable. One of mine developed a hole in the tip. Maybe I stretched it too thin. Bear in mind that your computer trackpad won't work with the fingers that these are on. Overall I think they're a good item to have on hand, but I had hoped to wear them at night and they seem to work better during the day for the reason I mentioned above.Mostly I'm looking forward to using them for those very very painful skin cracks next winter. I think they'll be perfect for that.

I had no idea these existed and I couldn't be more happy!! Cuts on my fingers from chemo, dry skin, paper cuts- bandaid never work but these are a life saver! I have small hands and they fit all fingers and thumbs. Washable. No smell of the silicone. Definitely a winner!

That's what I said when I slipped one on. Oh Man! These are great! Much better than expected. First, they are nothing like regular finger cots. These are thicker, and are built to last. Sooooo comfortable! It's a soft gel. I, sometimes get these nagging little paper cuts. If I cover them, it heals the healing process. but I put a bandaid on, then when I wash my hands or do the dishes, or swim in the bathtub, my bandaid gets wet, and heavyand it affects there healing time. Slip on one of these Gel cots and I'm good to go. So glad I in tried these

I inspected only two. One narrow one wide. There are 2 pinholes on one of the wider 4 items (cots). I did not go back and stretch the others to see if they are OK. I will contact amazon about this. I have only tested these two for flossing. I did not do anything else which would create pinhole. Probably the pinholes will grow.....The thickness of the product is too much for flossing. You cannot control the floss well. So you have to stretch the items you wear on your thumb and index finger. At this point you may want to consider using a nitrile glove instead of buying these cots. When I tried stretching they cause a slight pain....I think that you will find that the thickness is too much if you are going to need to have good control of the things you are touching.

I bought these to protect a thumb that is regrowing a nail. The gel material is definitely more comfortable and protective than disposable finger cots. However, it seems to attract all sorts of stains that do not come off with soap and water. I still read the Sunday paper and within seconds the device was covered with unsightly (and I suspect unsanitary) black ink that would not budge. I do all the cooking and so far have found olive oil and tomato sauce also a problem. So now I have an "inside" pair and an "outside" pair which I hope to keep clean.

These worked great to help my messed up fingers. My finger tips were amputated (long story). These have just enough compression that they made my fingers feel better.

These were useful to cover bandage when I cut my thumb, but still wanted to shower and clean dishes and other things that might cause it to get with. I also plan to where them when doing machine quilting.

These fingers protectors are soft, flexible, super stretchy and thick enough to protect my fingers when drawing and coloring. I only wish I had bought them before I truly needed them.
