This is a great product if you suffer canker sores every once in a while. Once you put a little bit of it on the sore, it creates a whitish layer on the sore and numbs it quite a bit, thus you wouldn't feel any pain. Its pretty strong; if you put a little too much of it, you can numb half of your mouth. I like the fact that it doesn't taste bad at all. In fact it kinda taste sweet and nice (of course I'm sure you're not supposed to have it in large quantities, but you can help having some of it when you put it no your sore)

I have relied on this product for oral ulcers (canker sores or "aphthous ulcers") for many, many years. It is the best available, "hands-down." Not only does it have a reasonable level of topical anesthetic, but the unique base keeps the "medicine" on the lesion (sore) much longer than other, similar products. I do regret how the price has nearly doubled over the years (somewhat better via Amazon), but this is a TOTAL WINNER for oral problems, such as canker sores and gingivitis (or teething infant gum pain), and good to keep in your medicine chest. Some small issues: I suggest you guard against getting any of this product on clothing, as removal is difficult...and insure the vial is always tightly closed, as it tends to easily leak material. If you travel with this item, it's highly recommended that you enclose it in a plastic "baggie."

This stuff really works! Be careful when you apply it however or you will numb your whole mouth. I would have preferred an eyedropper to apply it with instead of the hard applicator that it came with. If I can't find an eyedropper then I will probably use a Q-tip swab so I can get it only where I want to apply it.

If you ever get canker sores, this stuff is a life saver. I have been using this for decades and It is tough to find in stores by me so I am grateful to find it here on Amazon. Apply 2 or 3 times a day depending on issue and it makes healing process a lot better.

Have been using this product for years! Sometimes it is hard to find in drugstores. This is a lifesaver if you get the occasional mouth/tongue canker sore. Put a dab on your sore at night and by morning it is gone!!

This has got to be one of the worst products I have ever used. Why in the world would you want to put a product on a sore in your mouth that upon application, IMMEDIATELY starts burning like the gates of hell? This is a disaster trying to apply the product, and when it starts burning, trying to suck in enough cold air to stop the burn.I guess the product works fine, seeing that when the burn starts, you forget all about the mouth sore, bladder control, equilibrium, and atheism, because you will pray to sweet baby Jesus to stop the fire you have self applied.The canister, some people call it a bottle, I call it a canister, says SATISFACTION GUARANTEED.Well, if you can not tell, I am not satisfied.

Great formula--I wouldn't recommend getting this applicator though. It's really a pain to use. I would suggest either the brush kind or the squeeze tube kind.
