It is solid piece 19 century product!
It has 3 pair bears, all the gears cast iron (or steel, not cheap plastic! ), The only no metal parts are the two white plastic dough guide. The cutter are wrapped in oil paper (apparently mechanical oil from the smell), obviously, it is not stainless steel). It come with two cutters. The rollers look like stainless steel. The frame is stamped steel, feel solid enough. But it is very basic (compared to the $120+ one from other vendor), no gear cover, everything is exposed (it is very good for education purpose as I think). It is also very dangerous if little kids to play it.I give it 5 stars only because its solid construction. need lot of work before we could use it, including clean the black oil (everywhere), wash off the oil in the cuter). If do have time to do all there extra works, it do worth the $75 as I paid.

After receiving it, I tested it with Lead testing strips from Amazon, most food contact parts tested positive for lead. I contacted them and Amazon gave a full refund.

Some Modifications Necessary
Good price for a heavy duty machine. The hand wheel only has a keyway do it slides off, I had to drill and tap the end to accept a screw and washer. There were some damaged components, the feed tray was bent and the plastic broken from the adjustment screws. I made a larger heavier duty feed tray and replaced the adjustment screws. After the modification it does an excellent job at kneading low hydration dough.

Cheap and convenient
I used to own an automatic noodle maker, but it didn't work well. This one is much better. It's just too heavy. I prefer to make my own noodles and steamed buns because I don't trust the additives used in store-bought ones.

This is what you can expect...
I knew going into this that i would have some work to do, and i did.Shipping was decently quick.Packaging is pretty bad. Barely any protection, one box. Hard parts and corners poked through everywhere. Scratched, but no damage which would render it unusable. Some paint scuffed down to bare metal.Every bolt was loose. You need to align and tighten everything so the rollers are parallel. However, you might want to take it apart.Everything smells like dinosaur grease. I highly, highly doubt any of the grease is food grade, but it did keep it from rusting.I put the cutters in an ultrasonic cleaner, twice, filthy. Then i washed them up really well, blew them dry, and soaked every nook and cranny in peanut oil while rotating the cutters. I put a little H1/ food grade grease on the gears, then later ran scrap dough through the cutters to take up the excess oil.The main unit i totally disassembled and cleaned. Again i used H1 grade grease on every non-sealed friction point. I sanded the edges of the rollers since they had some sharp burrs. Worst welding I've ever seen, but it works. It will need to be clamped down or screwed down, especially if using a stiff dough as that will have tendency to torque it in a twisting motion, which over time will loosens the bolts and causes the rollers to chew into the cheap plastic side covers. I bent the feet to a proper 90 degree bend, then i bolted it to angle iron braces, and it doesn't move anymore.I tested the paint for lead, because that's still legal in a disturbing number of countries and products, but it tested negative.A tip. Turn the roller screws all the way in on both sides, then mark each knob with a pen in the same place, like at the top. Back each one out the identical number of turns until one just barely is at the furthest point out where it still touches the roller. Now mark this as the top on both knobs, and it will be ready to turn each side the same amount. The way the slots are cut and the holes are tapped, that's the only way you can ensure your starting point is parallel, because they will not be parallel at the weirdest setting on both sides. After all that, it does a nice job with stiff dough, and gobbles it up with ease. I use half a turn on the knobs with each pass, but you can get away with a full turn with soft dough. 2.5 to 3 full turns is about right for spaghetti size cuts. It's worth about a Ulysses S. Grant in my opinion, so don't pay too much.

Will last forever, enjoying every moment.
I am truly happy every time I use this machine! It is bulky, yes...but it will last and so easy to use. Simple, plenty space for your hands to clean. Just a joy to use.

Dangerous Product
This product created noodles with dangerous metal shards in them! The product came out of the box covered in an anti rust grease. I spent about an hour cleaning it off, considering it looked like rust and I had no idea if it was food-safe. After cleaning and assembling the product, I made a batch of noodles and was disgusted to find black powder and metal shards in the noodles. This product is unsafe and needs to be taken off Amazon

Good design but low quality.
The design of this machine is good: easy to use and clean. The material is of low quality. The packaging of my order arrived broken, the machine was missing 4 nuts, and the filling chute was deformed and the plastic film came off.
