Guardian Hunting Series Dog Collar Light, White

The "Hunting Series" is the way to go; they seem to be of higher quality, more durable in terms of being able to attach to multiple sized collars, and comes with an extra battery. The original purchase included one hunting series, one not. The one that was not ended up being returned in favor of another hunting series model. These lights are bright and do the trick. I now have one red, one blue; when flashing most vehicles slow way down.

Unit is definitely bright. The switching from solid on to flash is easy, just unscrew the lens and flip the battery. Shipment included an extra battery pack..thats a plus! I recommend putting the unit onto the collar in a position that will stay stationary. At about 700 yards, i loose sight if the collar flips to opposite site...user error..not the lights.

This product is excellent! I've been looking for a truly water-PROOF dog collar light for a long time now.PROs:From my experience so far, this light is indeed truly water-proof, not just water-resistant, and can be fully submerged in water for long periods of time and continue to work. The makers claim the light is also crush-proof. I have not personally tested this claim, but from what I can tell it is extremely strong and well built. It can withstand most dangers presented by being on a dog, but one could most likely crush it by running it over with a car. The light is very bright and visible from a good distance.CONs:The biggest problem with this product (and the main reason it gets 4 and not 5 stars), is that it does not stay securely on my dogs collar. This is a huge problem that can be easily fixed with an updated design. If you have a very old dog that isn't very active this probably won't be a problem, but for my energetic dog who rolls around a lot the light became dislodged on a few occasions. I used a velcro cable tie in a loop to further secure the light to my dog's collar. That has seemed to help, but it's still possible for the light to fall off, which is simply unacceptable.I'm very picky and had a few smaller issues with this product. You rotate the dial/head of the light to switch it on and off. This is frequently a pain to do in comparison to other models that have switches or just squeeze on and off. I have to hold it with one hand and rotate the top of it with the other. It's not a huge pain, but other models have much easier switches. Everyone now and then, it will switch itself on. I think this can be prevented by really rotating the head even further off, but again this comes back to the poorly designed switch. While this flaw is very rare, it has occurred with mine. What would help make this light perfect is if would it had a rechargeable battery via a micro-usb port, so that I didn't have to keep buying replacement batteries. With that said the longevity you get out of a single battery is still very good and rivals pretty much all dog collar lights I have seen on the market.Conclusion:Despite my criticisms, this dog collar light is the best one I have ever owned and despite its drawbacks I would highly recommend it. It's not perfect, but you will not find a better water-proof dog collar light than this.

Slids on collar nicely, and has a function that allows it to flash or you can make them stay on.

Let the dogs run around. Was great being able to see where they were at night. Then all of the sudden one of the lights went out. The lens unscrewed and fell off. Now does nothing.They need a better way to turn on and offf so the lens doesn’t fall off.

These beacons are the best, I can see my dogs on the side hills during the fall or way back in the hay field easily.The light is so bright, it lights up the undersides of the trees. You can quite easily see if you dogs are coming to you or on their own mission.I also like the fact that you can choose to have a steady beam or a pulsing beam simply by just flipping over the battery set.My beacon lights are mounted on German Shepherds, and I have not had any come off their collars.

I purchased the green light and its very bright! Easy to attach to any collar which I currently have it attached to a K9 tactical gear E collar. Works great, I would definitely recommend it!
