To begin with I thought it was expensive but for the quality and performance and for what it achieves which is great sleep for a young one - it's priceless.This is the second blackout curtain I've bought and the performance is spot on for both of them.It blocks out the light even during the day. Obviously this will depend on the size of the window you're covering and where it's possible to place the suction cups.I've travelled with this several times and every time it works as expected and blocks out the majority of light. Its a very versatile product. And there's velcro to help reduce the size depending on the window size you're covering.Pros:- thick material which blocks out the light- durable- can be reshaped for different sized windows- strong suction (when fitted correctly)- portable and versatile- easy to install and removeCons:- suctions can fail sometimes and need refittingI would recommend this to parents tying to make their little ones rooms dark at varying points of the day.

Brilliant, ensures babies room is dark for nap times during the day. Velcro makes it easy to adjust to window size.

Bought to help our child sleep in their bedroom when the sun is coming up early. It has moons and stars which our child has liked the look of, although would've preferred something a bit more colourful on the child-facing side.It's worked fairly well - it's a good alternative to a permanent blackout blind for the kids and it is fairly versatile in terms of fitting different-sized windows. It has velcro so you can fold it up to help you fit it to the window and it is easy to put up and take down. The fit is never quite perfect, but there are plenty of suction cups to get it good enough. One criticism is that it does tend to lose suction on a few cups fairly regularly, but it is minor.It does a decent job of blocking out the light and it was cheaper than buying a full blackout blind, with the added versatility of taking it on holiday, etc. I'd recommend it.

I have to write a review and say this is by far the best blackout blind I have ever bought. I have bought a few different ones each with different problems. I hate using tape to put them up and I was skeptical with this one but it is great. No light comes through only a little from the edges where there is no suction cup but this is actually good because the room isn't pitch black and I don't use a night light in my toddler's bedroom. I wish I had discovered this one sooner. Could have saved time, money and effort. I love this and it can be taken away on holiday as well. Suction cups work really well as well. My previous blinds from other makes always fell off and the tape lost its stickiness after a while. And I had to measure and cut to fit before. Total pain. It fits my windows almost perfectly. Highly recommended!

Helps the room stay dark regardless of the sun!Such a great product. Really good at blocking the light out and keeping a room dark. Baby is sleeping through and it’s been a dream - it’s getting packed for all future holidaysFound it even helps with keeping some of the heat out of babies room when it’s so warm outside. Have heard of problems with leaving them up in the heat and trapping heat but haven’t found anything like that myself.Goes up well. Our window doesn’t need the whole thing and so it’s folder up on itself. Really pleased!

These are good as portable blackouts for winter.Unfortunately because the side that's facing the sun is black, it tends to trap a lot of heat, so I would not recommend for someone looking to black out the summer sun. For that, you're better off with the reflective white side.Compared to similar products, I didn't like that suction works only on glass, so it's not possible to 100% fully cover the window area. It would be better if the sticky velcro sticks are provided so that the blackouts can be fitted onto window rails instead.Also I subsequently was able to find better value products that work just as well.Having said all this, there are some good things. The ease of installation is good, and there are options to increase or decrease the overall area size, so it's quite flexible.

My daughter has built in blinds in her windows and didn’t want curtains, but the daylight is making it hard for her to sleep now it’s summer, as they are not blackout blinds, just anti glare, so I wanted a non permanent solution that will enable her to sleep better. This is great. Some light comes through the sides and the suction cup only sticks to glass not upvc but it works for us. She’s finding it much easier to get to sleep at night.

Third one we have brought over the last three years, Good quality material and will mostly keep the room nice and dark. The only criticism is that the suction pads over time will fail and shouldn’t given the price point of this time compared to the others.
