Night Owl Security Hi-Resolution 900 TVL Security Camera with 100-Feet of Night Vision

I Got this camera to add to my 8 channel night owl system because it supposedly has better resolution and "100 feet of night vision". I tested it with the original cameras that came with the system as soon as I unboxed it and quickly noticed that although the color was by far better, the picture was far worse. I still went ahead and set it up outside and again, I was disappointed. the night vision is almost non existent i set it up on a second floor window (about 15 feet) looking down unto my back yard and i could not make out a thing forget 100 feet, this thing gets ok results at about 10 feet, no more.

pur, sept 2015 cameras look as though I got my money worth, after two weeks at night look like we was having a major snow storm I went outside to check no snow .Next night it look like spider webs on the lens went outside to clean it no webs there first week of dec 2015 it went black, now the second camera is acting the same way I guess it will go out in the next day or so.looks like night owl needs to check their product out. at this time I would they are junk

It has at least double the resolution of the 480 scan cameras that were included with the Night Owl unit. This includes the night resolution. The wider angle view is more practical than the view angle of the 480 cameras. The audio recording is good for about 20+ ft. The only problem is that the daytime signal has an occasional wave in the picture. I have been told that there are high shielded cables that are available.

these cameras are great for the price. I am not happy with the night quality (giving the name)

Great camera, this was used to replace an old one and works great. The picture is very clear and fast delivery.
